  • Great Info!

I love this podcast. John is very knowledgeable, which makes him a great facilitator of interesting conversations with his guests. I had a hard time finding a "middle of the road" InfoSec podcast, where it's not too basic or over my head, and this is the best one I've found so far. I can always rely on this podcast being current, useful, and relevant.

  • Smart InfoSec for both Red & Blue Teams

Purple Squad Security is a great podcast. John is a great host who has great questions and keeps a good pace to the show. I've enjoyed all of his guests who are equally engaging and knowledgeable. I like the fact that the show focuses on both teams - red and blue. The episodes don't waste your time as they are informative and give you more for thought aka "homework" after the show. The show notes are an outstanding reference. This is one of my go to podcasts for InfoSec. I hope to be on the show one day!

  • Authentic and engaging

As a noob to cyber, I was looking for podcasts that could help me grow my vocab, knowledge of tools, tips and procedures, and help me gain a better understanding of the culture. John does a very good job of creating a podcast that makes you feel like you've been invited to a lunch with your peers, and you're a welcome guest. Keep up the great work.
